On Wednesday, Aug. 29, during a presidential convocation to open the new school year, new and returning students from 28 countries and 37 states were welcomed back to campus with the annual applause tunnel, followed by the tradition of dunking the new president.
Opening the 2018-19 Performing Arts Series, internationally recognized choir Conspirare will bring Considering Matthew Shepard to the Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall on Friday, Sept. 14, 2018.
Shortly after graduating from Goshen College in 2008, Jes Buller moved to Colombia as a part of MCC’s Seed program. For eight years, Buller worked as a facilitator and community organizer in coastal Colombia.
Series tickets for the sixth season of Goshen College’s Rieth Chamber Series are now available. The 2018-19 series will feature seven different outstanding chamber music ensembles and organists as it continues to build on its reputation of providing captivating classical music to Michiana.
The Donald Sinta Quartet, Senior Wind Division Gold Medal winner at the 2018 Fischoff Competition, will perform the opening concert in the 2018-19 Rieth Chamber Series on Friday, Sept. 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Center's Rieth Recital Hall.
On August 25-26, Goshen College welcomed new students and families to campus for New Student Orientation, which included registration, move-in, a welcome convocation, the presidential picnic, a farewell celebration, new student retreat at Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center and more!
Harold Watson was announced as the new athletic director for Goshen College last week. Watson, 35, has most recently spent time working in Georgia Southern University’s athletic department, serving as the assistant athletic director for strategic marketing.
A strong desire to swim in Fidler Pond was motivation enough for Lindsay (Gangloff) Kauffman '10 to compete in the 2018 Rock The Quarry event, five months after giving birth.
School may not be in session yet at Goshen College, but student-athletes on campus are already hard at work in the community.
