During College Goal Sunday, Oct. 28, from 2-4 p.m., financial aid professionals will be volunteering to help college-bound Indiana students and their families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form and open the door to financial aid. The free event will take place in the Goshen College Union Building, and Spanish interpretation will be available.
Gillian Welch will be bringing over 20 years of experience, six Grammy Award nominations and one Album of the Year award to the Goshen College Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018 at 8 p.m. Welch is joined on stage by partner Dave Rawlings.
Works from the Arlin and Naomi Hunsberger Haitian Art Collection, along with the Nyai Oyer Gamelan, a large, traditional, Javanese instrument, will be on display in the Goshen College Music Center’s Hershberger Art Gallery from Sept. 23 to Nov. 11, 2018, with a reception during Homecoming Weekend on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 5:30 p.m.
Goshen College will honor five outstanding alumni with awards for their commitment to the college’s core values, including David Reimer '84; Patricia Ebersole Zwier ’76; Jes Stoltzfus Buller ’08; Penina (Acayo) Laker ’11; and Byron Shenk ’63.
The Goshen College Theater Department will debut Frankie Little Hardin’s “History Lesson,” the winning play in the 2018 Goshen College Peace Play Contest—the only contest devoted solely to plays about peace and peace-related topics in the United States.
The Homecoming Music Gala, your first opportunity to hear the Goshen College ensembles, will take place on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Center's Sauder Concert Hall. Tickets are $8 general admission.
Zacharias Martinez, Dr. Sibonokuhle Ncube and Durga Sunchiuri, each from a different continent, are sharing the stories of how their nations are experiencing the effects of climate change. All are invited to hear these stories Tuesday, September 25, 7 p.m. at Goshen College’s Church Chapel.
Five Goshen College students have received scholarships from Everence, the financial services organization of Mennonite Church USA.
During Indiana College GO! Week, Sept. 24-28, Goshen College will waive application fees for all Indiana seniors during College GO! Week is sponsored by Learn More Indiana.
