Located near scenic Wolf Lake in Indiana, Merry Lea boasts geological riches of an unusually wide variety such as peat bogs, a marl pit and glacial gravel formations. Merry Lea is also home to wetland, prairie, and savanna restorations and participates in sustainable agriculture.
Dr. Katharine Hayhoe, an atmospheric scientist who directs the Climate Science Center at Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas, was the featured speaker for Goshen College’s annual Religion and Science Conference March 29 to 31, 2019.
During renovations of the Goshen College Union Building, workers discovered a hidden trove of 1970s-era dance paraphernalia, including a Dual 1009 Sk2 4-speed turntable with The Commodores’ disco anthem “She’s a Brick House” still on the platter.
On March 23, Justin Gillette '05 won his 100th marathon, only second person in the country to do so.
