Goshen College faculty, staff and student women and nonbinary people will perform stories about friendship, sexuality, body image, trauma and triumph in the sixth annual Goshen Monologues on Sunday, March 31. The performance will take place at 7 p.m. in the Goshen College Umble Center and is free and open to the public.
Goshen College President Rebecca Stoltzfus joined 15 other leaders from Indiana colleges and universities in signing a letter seeking stronger language in Indiana hate crimes legislation, which was recently “gutted” of language that would “enhance penalties against criminals who harmed others based on their disability, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity.”
President Stoltzfus signed a letter along with 15 presidents of independent colleges and universities that calls for legislators to institute a bias crimes law "with an enumerated list of characteristics."
