Goshen College’s ENL program participants can receive pre-K assistance
Goshen College’s English as a New Language (ENL) program has been recognized by Indiana’s Family Social Services Administration as a program that can receive assistance for education support for students and their young children.
On My Way Pre-K awards grants to four year-olds from low-income families so that they may have access to a high-quality pre-K program the year before they begin kindergarten. Families who receive a grant may use the grant at any approved On My Way Pre-K program.
“This is a great new benefit for our students and their families,” said Ann Vendrely, vice president of academic affairs and academic dean. “I’m thrilled that they will be able to take advantage of this opportunity.”
These programs help families get child care so they may work, attend training or continue their education. The purpose of child care assistance is to increase the availability, affordability and quality of child care.
