2021 was another unusual year, but we forged ahead with creativity and caution to provide the best experience for our community. Read some of the top stories from this past year:
Mennonites all over the country have rallied behind the Liechty siblings as Girl Named Tom made their way through The Voice’s singing competition. Ken Nafziger '63, a professor emeritus of music at Eastern Mennonite University and music editor of the 1992 Hymnal: A Worship Book, said, “It is a matter of pride for the church. Of course, we don't talk about pride as Mennonites, but it is powerful that somebody from among us accomplished that.”

Girl Named Tom - winners of Season 21 of The Voice - have deep ties to Goshen College and many fans and supporters on campus.
Matt Troyer-Miller '05 is pastor of Wood River Mennonite Church, and an EMT and chaplain for the Wood River Volunteer Fire Department, and Elizabeth Troyer-Miller '06 works part time for Heartland Disaster Recovery Group and offers mediation services.
With over 30 years of experience in the RV industry, Tracy Anglemeyer '02 has a wealth of industry knowledge.
Goshen College recognized 38 employees for milestones during their service to the college, during a celebration on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021.
Siblings Joshua '18 and Caleb '19 Liechty performed together and on their own on GC stages throughout their college experience. Now, they have joined their voices with their younger sister, Bekah, as "Girl Named Tom," competing on and WINNING season 21 of NBC's The Voice.
