There is a critical shortage of healthcare professionals in the region that preceded and was exacerbated by the health crisis of COVID-19. The college’s talented faculty lead a world-class program, but are presently in crowded spaces that limit the growth of these outstanding and high-demand programs. New facilities in Westlawn will provide space for an expanding portfolio of nursing and public health programming to meet the growing needs of healthcare. Ten Goshen College voice students participated in the Indiana state auditions for the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), held at Butler University in Indianapolis, on Saturday, Nov. 5.
The men's cross country team finished 22nd at the NAIA National Champions in Tallahassee, Florida on Friday, Nov. 18. This was the fourth consecutive year the team has run at the national meet, and they have placed in the top 25 all four times. Nelson Kemboi '24 earned a spot as an All-American for the third straight year.
Goshen College has been awarded a $299,904 campus grant from the U.S. Department of Justice through the Office on Violence Against Women to build on current resources available to prevent domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking.
