Amy Gingerich ’99 reappointed as MennoMedia executive director
Amy Gingerich '99 has been reappointed as MennoMedia executive director. The MennoMedia Board tapped Gingerich for a second four-year term as leader of the denominational publishing arm. Gingerich was first appointed in 2018.
Doc’s Pavilion will celebrate the community Robert ‘Doc’ Abel ’45 loved
In the first few years after moving to Wakarusa in the 1950s, Robert “Doc” Abel '45 built a community swimming pool and pool house in his backyard. Now, with the help of his family and the Community Foundation, “Doc’s Pavilion,” an outdoor shelter for group gatherings and local events, will be a place where people can remember Doc’s contribution to the community.

The Reverend Dr. Jack Sullivan, Jr., an internationally-known ecumenist, preacher, justice advocate and death penalty abolitionist will speak on Friday, Feb. 18 at 10 a.m. EST in the Goshen College Church-Chapel, as part of the Atlee and Winifred Beechy Peace, Justice and Reconciliation Lectureship.
