College Goal Sunday 2025
Goshen College will host a College Goal Sunday event on Feb. 23, joining colleges across the state in hosting this program. The free program provides professional assistance to Indiana students with filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Goshen College's new Center for Nursing and Public Health is hosting an open house for prospective students and anyone interested in studying at GC! Our nursing faculty will give tours of the classrooms and labs, and students will have the change to mingle with our admissions counselors and enjoy some tasty appetizers. Anabaptists from around the continent gathered, both in-person and virtually, to watch a worship service on the night of Tuesday, Jan. 21 celebrating 500 years of the faith tradition.

Goshen College’s Center for Nursing opens
After 16 months of renovation and construction, Goshen College’s new state-of-the-art Center for Nursing and Public Health in Westlawn Hall opened for its first classes on Wednesday. The renovation project cost about $21 million total.
Mark Landes ’99 named 10th president of Hesston College
Hesston College announced that local businessman and former college administrator Mark Landes will serve as its next president. Landes graduated from Goshen College in 1999.
2025 S.A. Yoder Memorial Lecture
Sofia Samatar, a writer of fiction and nonfiction, will speak at the 2025 S. A. Yoder Memorial Lecture. Her works range from the award-winning epic fantasy A Stranger in Olondria to Opacities, a nonfiction book about writing, publishing, and friendship. Her memoir, The White Mosque, is a PEN/Jean Stein Award finalist.
2025 Umble Master Class in Speech and Theatre
Carson Kreitzer, a playwright, lyricist, librettist and a Guggenheim, MacDowell, and McKnight Fellow, will speak at Goshen College's Umble Master Class in Speech and Theatre on Feb. 4. Her speech begins at 7 p.m.
