Goshen College celebrates employee milestones
Goshen College faculty and staff gathered on Monday, Nov. 14, to celebrate the holiday season and to recognize 25 employees for milestones during their service to the college.
The honored employees included:
35 years of service:
- Kerry Goodrich, Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center property supervisor
30 years of service:
- John D. Roth, professor of history and Mennonite Historical Library director
- Joe Springer, Mennonite Historical Library curator
25 years of service:
- John Ross Buschert, professor of physics
- Patty Eash, development administrative assistant
- Jim Histand, vice president for finance
- Nelda Johnson, administrative assistant to athletics, recreation and fitness center, health services and department of kinesiology
- Kathy Meyer Reimer, professor of education, director of elementary education
- Jean Yoder, accounts receivable clerk
20 years of service:
- Beverly Lapp, professor of music, core curriculum director
- Launa Rohrer, dean of students
15 years of service:
- Matthew Hill, professor of music
- Carolyn Schrock-Shenk, associate professor of peace, justice and conflict studies
- Duane Stoltzfus, professor of communication
- Ruth Stoltzfus, professor of nursing; director of graduate program in nursing
- Jeanette Yoder, financial aid administrative assistant
10 years of service:
- Jim Brenneman, president
- Joyce Hoffman, associate professor of nursing
- Linda Kaminskis, athletic trainer
- Lois Martin, director of the Academic Resource and Writing Center
Five years of service:
- Norman Bakhit, senior director of human resources
- Colleen Geier, program director and associate professor of ASL interpreting
- Hannah Gerig Meyer, graphic designer
- Chris Kennel, international education administrative assistant
- David Kempf, audiovisual / IT systems specialist
