Augusta Nafziger, a junior music and writing major from Weyers Cave, Virginia, took first place in the 35th annual Keating Competition on Saturday, Nov. 13, in which 10 of the top collegiate journalists in the state of Indiana had five hours to report and write a story.
Broadcasting students earn national award nominations from CMA, CBI
Ten Goshen College students and recent alumni have been named finalists for Pinnacle Awards by the College Media Association (CMA), and 21 students and alumni have been named finalists for the National Student Production Awards by College Broadcasters Incorporated (CBI).
Maple Leaf track and field teams, individuals named to USTFCCCA All-Academic Team
The Goshen College men's and women's track and field teams were each named All-Academic Teams by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association last week. The Maple Leafs were one of 49 men's teams and 60 women's teams to receive the honor. Forty-seven schools appeared on both lists.

Three Goshen College students, Emily Sandler, Vianey Latisnere Reinada and Shelbey Younts, have been named 2021 Outstanding Future Educators by the Indiana Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (IACTE).

The Indiana Collegiate Press Association (ICPA) named Goshen College's student newspaper, The Record, “Newspaper of the Year” for the fourth consecutive time in the college division, more than 20 Goshen College students collecting 42 awards.
GC named ‘Radio School of the Year’ for seventh time in ten years
The Indiana Association of School Broadcasters (IASB) named 91.1 FM The Globe (WGCS) “Radio School of the Year” for the third consecutive time in the college division, with a flurry of awards in ten of 13 categories.
