The Hmong American Farmers Association named Matius (Mat) Krisetya '93 as the the inaugural Director of Operations. Krisetya has more than 20 years of experience in international nonprofit management and has worked in various countries around the world including Indonesia, the Philippines and Jamaica.
In January 2017 Dr. J.D. Mininger entered into the role of Academic Vice-President and Dean of Faculty at LCC International University. His relationship to LCC reaches as far back as 1995, when his parents, James and Virginia Mininger, began the first of their thirteen years of service at LCC.

Netflix has purchased the worldwide rights for "The Incredible Jessica James," the closing night film of this year's Sundance Film Festival. The deal reportedly went for over $3 million. The comedy, written and directed by Jim Strouse (People Places Things), and stars Jessica Williams (The Daily Show) as Jessica James, an aspiring playwright in New York City.

Hannah (Grieser) Hochstetler '13 died in a Jan. 19 traffic accident near Roanoke, Virginia. Hochstetler was 26. Her husband, Caleb Hochstetler '13, was also injured in the accident.
Sasha Dyck '04 was hoping to be in Washington, D.C., Friday, but instead he'll have to watch the event from north of the border. The dual citizen was denied entry into the United States Thursday when he presented his Canadian passport at the St. Bernard de Lacolle, Que., border crossing.
