Brad Yoder '63, a professor of sociology and social work at Manchester University, has been named Indiana Social Worker of the Year by the National Association of Social Workers.
Randy Mast is not a pro triathlete, but his training regiment, dedication and focus rivals those who collect winnings. This Coloradan won his age group at Ironman Boulder and finished 17th overall earning a trip to the world championships in Kona on October 11th.
Merit Learning Center Principal Kristen Watt was raised in Goshen, she cares about its community and she’s passionate about the success of its students. Catherine Bender is a flutist and music instructor in Seattle. Not only is she an extremely talented musician, she is wonderfully kind and genuine.
Goshen College alumni and friends are warmly invited back to campus for Homecoming Weekend, Oct. 3-5. In addition to reuniting with classmates, highlights of the weekend include alumni awards, a music gala, a hymn sing, an art exhibit, kids’ activities, an alumni bike ride, alumni author book signings, campus tours, a Frisbee tournament, soccer game and the world premiere for two peace plays.
