Students and faculty from seven Anabaptist colleges will meet at Goshen College for the annual Intercollegiate Peace Fellowship Conference of Mennonite and Affiliated Colleges March 18-20, 2016.
Dr. Marlin Jeschke, professor emeritus of philosophy and religion, returns to Goshen College to present “Conflict Within Islam: The Sunni-Shia Divide,” for an Afternoon Sabbatical on March 8 at 1 p.m. in the Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall.
The Goshen College Theater Department will present William Shakespeare’s cautionary tale, Julius Caesar, in Umble Center on March 4, 5, 11 at 8 p.m.; March 6, 12, 13 at 3 p.m.
A new exhibit of inherited quilts from members of Clinton Frame Mennonite Church in Goshen will open at the Goshen College Library Gallery, with a public reception on March 15 from 3-5 p.m. The exhibit will continue through July 1, 2016.

Goshen College’s 14th annual Conference on Science and Religion will be held April 8-10 and will feature speaker Hava Tirosh-Samuelson, professor of modern Judaism, the director of Jewish studies and professor of history at Arizona State University.
Students in the Goshen College International Student Club (ISC) will celebrate the food and culture of their home countries with a dinner and a show during the annual ISC Coffeehouse on Saturday, March 12.
Rebecca Janzen, assistant professor of Spanish at Bluffton (Ohio) University, will present the 2016 C. Henry Smith Peace Lecture on Tuesday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Goshen College Administration Building Room 28. Janzen’s speech is titled “Small Signs of Pluralism in Mexico: Identification Cards and Other Images of the Low German Mennonites.”
Award-winning organist David Jonies will present a recital on Goshen College’s Opus 41 pipe organ in the Music Center’s Rieth Recital Hall on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. The recital is part of the 2015-16 Rieth Chamber Series.
