Alum, National Science Board member, to speak about food security

Wife-and-husband piano duo, Luke and Mary Rose Norell, will ring in the holiday season with their performance of Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite” played on two pianos. Their performance will also feature works by Bach and Liszt.
On Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m., the Institute for the Study of Global Anabaptism and College Mennonite Church will host a public lecture by Peggy Faw Gish, titled “Learning to Love Boko Haram: A Nigerian Peace Church Responds.”
Hailing from historic County Waterford, the acclaimed Irish ensemble Danú will celebrate Christmas in Goshen on Tuesday, Dec. 8, by taking its audience on a musical journey to their native land during a Performing Arts Series performance in the Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall at 7:30 p.m.
The Aureole Trio will perform at Goshen College on Saturday, Nov. 21, at 4 p.m. in the Music Center’s Rieth Recital Hall as part of the Rieth Chamber Series.
Goshen College’s All-Campus Band will perform alongside GC’s Lavender Jazz ensemble in a joint concert Friday, Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall.
The Goshen College theater and music departments will collaborate to present an updated version of Godspell in Umble Center on Nov. 13, 14 and 21 at 8 p.m., and Nov. 15 and 22 at 3 p.m.
Two generations Elkhart natives – Cynthia Marks and Brooke Marks-Swanson – will display their artwork from Nov. 22, 2015 through Jan. 24, 2016 in Goshen College’s Hershberger Art Gallery. A reception and artist talk will take place Sunday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m., with an artists talk following at 3:30 p.m. The exhibit, reception and talk are free and open to the public.
