Goshen College president announces retirement of provost, appointment of new vice president for enrollment management and an administrative restructuring

Goshen College President James E. Brenneman announced Friday that John D. Yordy, the college's provost and former interim president, will retire June 30. Brenneman also announced that Executive Director of Enrollment Lynn Jackson has been promoted to the new position of vice president for enrollment management and that the president will supervise campus vice presidents starting next month under a new leadership structure.

Goshen College’s 16th president celebrates first week in office with a party

After shelving his books in his office and with a full week of work completed as the new president of Goshen College, Dr. James E. Brenneman decided it was time to throw a party. On July 13, he held an "office warming" for all campus faculty, staff and students by inviting them to celebrate this new beginning for him and the college. And while most Old Testament biblical scholars and pastors may be thought of as serious and studious, President Brenneman clearly knows how to appreciate a joyous time.

Goshen College announces new campus minister, associate dean of student services and executive director of enrollment

Goshen College is pleased to announce the appointments of two new faculty members and a transition for a faculty member who will be serving in a new role. Lynn Jackson of Maryland Heights, Mo., will join the college as the executive director of enrollment, and Char Hochstetler of Goshen will serve as associate dean of student services. Bob Yoder of Goshen, an assistant professor and director of youth ministry at Goshen College since 2003, will become the campus minister.
