The Goshen College Music Department is pleased to announce that it is launching new $1,000 per year grants to incoming Goshen College students for participation in GC music ensembles. These new grants are in addition to its already existing audition-based music achievement awards, which range from $2,000-$10,000.
Leslee Smucker graduated from Goshen College in 2009 with a music major and an art minor, and took the interdisciplinary spirit of a liberal arts education into a new project called “Personae” that explores the musical and literary style of the poet Ezra Pound.
The Goshen College Community School of the Arts is pleased to announce a new Orff-Schulwerk Ensemble for students in grades 2-5, a student-centered approach to learning music that includes movement, speech, singing and instrument playing.
