Music Department to add music ensemble grants to scholarship offerings
The Goshen College Music Department is pleased to announce that it is launching new $1,000 per year grants to incoming Goshen College students for participation in GC music ensembles. These new grants are in addition to its already existing audition-based music achievement awards, which range from $2,000-$10,000.

Students publish ‘Freaky Squirrels,’ a collection of stories by GC alumni
Six Goshen College students have spent the semester working to publish a new literary journal, titled “Freaky Squirrels: No Answers, Just Stories,” a collection of essays, memoirs and photos, all contributed by GC alumni.

NorthWood High principal David Maugel ’92 named District 2 Principal of the Year – The Goshen News
NorthWood High School Principal David Maugel '92 was recently named Indiana Association of School Principals' Principal of the Year for District 2. District 2 comprises the counties of Elkhart, Fulton, Kosciusko, LaPorte, Marshall, Pulaski, St. Joseph and Starke.

Students have less than a month to apply for admission and to be eligible for Goshen College’s top scholarships for the 2016-17 school year. The priority application deadline is Dec. 15, 2016.

Dr. Joseph Manickam ’91 named ninth president of Hesston College – Hesston College
Dr. Joseph Manickam has been appointed as the ninth president of Hesston College following a unanimous vote from the Hesston College Board of Directors and the Mennonite Education Agency (MEA) board. He will assume office on July 1, 2017.
