Goshen College librarians help make peace archives available online
With the help of Goshen College librarians, more peace is now available around the world- at least in the form of online documents related to peace studies.
Goshen College to launch domestic Study-Service Term in local Latino community
Northern Indiana may not have the exotic allure of Cambodia or Peru, but after 40 years of sending students around the world for a semester of cross-culture learning, Goshen College is launching a new location for its Study-Service Term (SST) program right in its own backyard.

Hung Liu
Chinese artist Hung Liu, an internationally known and acclaimed mural painter will exhibit her art as the 2008-09 Eric Yake Kenagy Visiting Artist in the Goshen College Music Center’s Hershberger Art Gallery from Jan. 23 to March 3. Liu will present a public lecture on Sunday, Feb.
Goshen College students speak for peace in annual oratorical contest, Feb. 3
Six Goshen College students will speak Tuesday, Feb. 3 about issues of peace and justice for the annual C. Henry Smith Oratorical Contest. The contest begins at 7 p.m. and takes place in the Umble Center.
Bluffton religion professor to talk about freedom and peace on Feb. 2
Drawing heavily on the biblical book of Galatians, Bluffton (Ohio) University Assistant Professor of Religion Laura Brenneman will be asking the question, "What does freedom have to do with peace?" in her Monday, Feb. 2 C. Henry Smith Peace Lecture at Goshen College in the Administration Building, Room 28 at 7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Goshen College English Department launches new Center for Mennonite Writing online
For Mennonites and non-Mennonites interested in Mennonite writing, there is now one place to go online for a multitude of resources: the Center for Mennonite Writing (CMW). CMW, a project of the Goshen College English Department, was launched as a Web site in the middle of January at: www.mennonitewriting.org.
Goshen College celebrates the life and ideas of Martin Luther King Jr. with local stories
Adam and Maggie Williams of Elkhart were subject to a cross burning at their Elkhart home in May 2008. Stacie Meyers-Ray is a former Osceola, Ind., resident whose neighborhood became home to a racial extremist compound.
