Afternoon Sabbatical brings new lineup of diverse programs for 2015-16 series
Afternoon Sabbatical programs are typically held each second Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m. in the Goshen College Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall or the Church-Chapel Fellowship Hall. The programs are usually free and open to the public.

Paintings by artist Ray Dirks that honor the suffering, courage, faith and love of Russian Mennonite women whose lives were disrupted by conflicts in Russia will be on display in the Good Library basement gallery Aug. 10 - Oct. 16, 2015.

The first Schafer-Friesen Research Fellowship researcher, Karl H. Kienitz, an engineer from Brazil, arrived at Goshen College in June to study Pilgram Marpeck.
Individual tickets on sale Aug. 3 for the 2015-16 Goshen College Performing Arts Series
Beginning Monday, Aug. 3, concertgoers have the opportunity to secure individual tickets for all concerts in the Goshen College Performing Arts Series, including Ira Glass, Roseanne Cash, Bobby McFerrin, Béla Fleck, Chris Thile, Soweto Gospel Choir and Rhiannon Giddons, among other artists. Individual tickets go on sale at 8 a.m. online at www.goshen.edu/tickets and at the Goshen College Welcome Center.

Anita Stalter, academic dean, to retire after 28 years of service
Anita Stalter, academic dean at Goshen College since 2001, is retiring after 28 years at GC. Prior to becoming dean, Stalter spent 14 years as a professor in the education department and director of teacher education at the college.
Music Together® summer classes for young children offered through Community School of the Arts
The Goshen College Community School of the Arts (CSA) is accepting registrations for Music Together® music and movement classes for young children from birth to age 5 and their families, to be held in June and July 2015. Classes will be held in Elkhart and Goshen.
In jail, students from different backgrounds build bridges
For three weeks, three hours each morning, 19 Goshen College “outside” students and 20 “inside” students took part in two classes at the Elkhart County Correctional Facility.
