At the Mennonite Church USA convention in Kansas City, Jerrell and Jane Ross Richer and Sarah Augustine led a seminar called “Speaking to the Systems and Walking with Indigenous People.” The Richers work half the year with the Cofán people of eastern Ecuador, while in the other half Jerrell teaches at Goshen College.
The Community Foundation of Elkhart County awarded a grant of $57,000 to Goshen College for the education department to recruit and retain diverse teachers from Elkhart County over the next two years.

During renovations of the Goshen College Union Building, workers discovered a hidden trove of 1970s-era dance paraphernalia, including a Dual 1009 Sk2 4-speed turntable with The Commodores’ disco anthem “She’s a Brick House” still on the platter.
