New pastor brings a vision of service to Lima Mennonite Church: Emily Hedrick ’13 – The Lima News

In addition to finding a path back to God in Goshen, Hedrick also developed a fondness for the American Midwest. So after the 25-year-old Pennsylvania native finished her graduate work at the Wake Forest University School of Divinity, walking away with a Master’s of Divinity degree and a calling to the ministry, she decided that she wanted to return to the Midwest.

Bib Lit Impacting in the Classroom and Beyond: Marion Bontrager ’59, Michele Hershberger ’83 and John Sharp ’76 – Hesston College

This fall, students in Hesston College’s famous Introduction to Biblical Literature class received copies of the first print run of The Bible as Story: An Introduction to Biblical Literature as their textbook. Fittingly, the book is co-authored by former and current Hesston College faculty members Marion Bontrager, Michele Hershberger and John Sharp, who have more than 45 years of combined experience teaching the course.

El nuevo Study-Service Theology Term (SSTT) está buscando 20 estudiantes de preparatoria que soliciten participar en un estudio de dos semanas en Guatemala en el mes de junio de 2017. Los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de explorar su entendimiento de la vida y misión de Jesús en el surgir de los desafíos contemporáneos y de su propio llamado a la vocación.
