GC Women’s World Music Choir to tour Ontario
The Goshen College Women’s World Music Choir will spend their spring break touring and performing in churches and schools in Ontario, Canada from Feb. 25 through March 2, 2017, with a home concert on Sunday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Goshen College Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall.

New year brings launch of 12 new academic programs at Goshen College
Building on its academic distinctives, Goshen College faculty and administration recently approved 12 new undergraduate academic programs of study, including six majors, three minors, two concentrations and an education licensure add-on program, across five areas of study. The new opportunities will be offered beginning in the fall of 2017.

Music Department to add music ensemble grants to scholarship offerings
The Goshen College Music Department is pleased to announce that it is launching new $1,000 per year grants to incoming Goshen College students for participation in GC music ensembles. These new grants are in addition to its already existing audition-based music achievement awards, which range from $2,000-$10,000.

Emily Rodgers studied English at Goshen College. Other than a show on campus and a few solo gigs performing cover songs at The Electric Brew in Goshen and The Daily Grind in Elkhart, there is scant evidence of the musical career path Rodgers would embark on.
