Goshen College and Greencroft Communities are partnering in a new program, Maple Fellows, to place Goshen College students in various organizational jobs at Greencroft Goshen while also earning money towards their tuition.

There is a critical shortage of healthcare professionals in the region that preceded and was exacerbated by the health crisis of COVID-19. The college’s talented faculty lead a world-class program, but are presently in crowded spaces that limit the growth of these outstanding and high-demand programs. New facilities in Westlawn will provide space for an expanding portfolio of nursing and public health programming to meet the growing needs of healthcare. Four professors said farewell to Goshen College this summer as they retire and begin the next chapters in their lives. Together, they have served a total of 111 years, and an average of approximately 28 years at Goshen College.
Goshen College has been awarded a $4 million grant from the U.S. Commerce Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA). The grant provides funding to renovate the college’s historic Westlawn Hall in order to triple the size of the college’s nursing program facilities and expand enrollment capacity.
