A group of eight students formed a team through the international non-profit organization Enactus.
During May term, Goshen College Professor of History John D. Roth led 17 students in an exploration of the different Anabaptist cultures of Paraguay. The class trekked from the capital city of Asunción to Mennonite colonies in the Gran Chaco and in eastern Paraguay during their three-week learning tour of the country.
If intelligence is measured in the number of languages one speaks, bilingual and trilingual people are smart. But for Paul Keim, who speaks seven languages, a better word to describe him might be brilliant. Or intelligente. Or sprachbegabt.
The Goshen College Music Center’s Hershberger Art Gallery will be showcasing an exhibit titled “Indigenous Arts of Africa.” The exhibit runs from June 2 to Sept. 22, 2013.
