Storyteller John Ruth to offer April lecture at Goshen College
John Ruth will offer a lecture about his new memoir, “Branch,” in Goshen College’s Newcomer Center Room 17 on Thursday, April 24 at 7 p.m. A reception will follow the lecture, during which books will be available for purchase and signing. The event is free and open to the public.


Local pianist and boys and girls club bring puppets to life through music
Local pianist Mary Rose Norell, along with the Music Crew from the Elkhart Boys and Girls Club, will team up with Blair Thomas Puppetry for a performance of "A Piano with Three Tales" on April 24, 2014 at 7 p.m. in Goshen College Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall.

The Goshen College Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Christopher Fashun, will present its spring concert in Sauder Concert Hall on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.


Fleur de Lys to recreate baroque experience at Goshen College April 13

GC students bring new life to Mozart’s comic opera ‘Figaro’
Disguises, cross-dressing, mistaken identities and people jumping out of windows are all par for the course in Mozart’s energetic, light-hearted romp through the day of a wedding ceremony. The Goshen College theater and music departments will collaborate to present the composer’s comic opera “The Marriage of Figaro” in Umble Center on March 28, 29 and April 4 at 8 p.m., and March 30 and April 6 at 3 p.m. (ASL interpreted).


Spring mainstage play ‘The Diviners’ focuses on water during the Depression

The Legendary Count Basie Orchestra to perform at Goshen College April 5
The Legendary Count Basie Orchestra and New York Voices will unite to recreate the magic that won them the 1996 Grammy Award for their inspired collaboration, “Live at Manchester Craftsmen's Guild,” as part of the Performing Arts Series on April 5, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. in Goshen College’s Sauder Concert Hall.
