GC Talks | S.A. Yoder Lecture: Philip Metres, "The Place Where Peace and Justice Meet in Palestine/Israel"
Philip Metres, a poet, translator, scholar and Guggenheim Fellowship winner and author of "Shrapnel Maps," will present a virtual GC Talk, sponsored by the Yoder Public Affairs Lecture Series, titled "The Place Where Peace and Justice Meet in Palestine/Israel" on Tuesday, March 9 at 7 p.m.

61st Annual Concerto-Aria Concert
Seven student winners of the 2020 Goshen College Concerto-Aria Competition will perform arias and individual concerto movements with the Goshen College Symphony Orchestra in the 61st annual Concerto-Aria Concert on Saturday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m. This concert can be viewed online at goshen.edu/livestream.

C. Henry Smith Peace Oratorical Contest
Five Goshen College students will speak on themes of peace and justice during the 2021 C. Henry Smith Peace Oratorical Contest on Tuesday, Feb. 16. The annual event will take place at 7 p.m. with a small audience in the Umble Center and will be live-streamed to the public.

Vocal Production and Interpretation Workshop with Hamilton Broadway actor Fergie L. Philippe (8 p.m. EST)
Join this workshop at 8 p.m. EST. Before the pandemic, Fergie Philippe was playing the roles of Hercules Mulligan and James Madison in Hamilton on Broadway. Currently, he is an adjunct faculty member at New World School of the Arts. Fergie is also a screenwriter and hopes to soon produce his own works with his production company “Et Toi Productions.” He also takes an interest in puppetry, photography and music.
