Peace Play: “History Lesson”
The Goshen College Theater Department will debut Frankie Little Hardin’s “History Lesson,” the winning play in the 2018 Goshen College Peace Play Contest—the only contest devoted solely to plays about peace and peace-related topics in the United States.


Homecoming Music Gala
The Homecoming Music Gala, your first opportunity to hear the Goshen College ensembles, will take place on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Center's Sauder Concert Hall. Tickets are $8 general admission.


Reception: Haitian Arts: The Hunsberger Collection and the Nyai Oyer Gamelan
Works from the Arlin and Naomi Hunsberger Haitian Art Collection, along with the Nyai Oyer Gamelan, a large, traditional, Javanese instrument, will be on display in the Goshen College Music Center’s Hershberger Art Gallery from Sept. 23 to Nov. 11, 2018, with a reception during Homecoming Weekend on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 5:30 p.m.


Yoder Public Affairs Lecture: David Reimer: "U.S. - Africa Relations: An Ambassador's Perspective"
GC alum and diplomat David Reimer, U.S. ambassador to Mauritius and Seychelles, will present this year’s Yoder Public Affairs Lecture: “U.S.-Africa Relations: An Ambassador’s Perspective" on Thursday, Oct. 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the Goshen College Music Center's Rieth Recital Hall.


College GO! Week
During Indiana College GO! Week, Sept. 24-28, Goshen College will waive application fees for all Indiana seniors during College GO! Week is sponsored by Learn More Indiana.


Rieth Chamber Series: Donald Sinta Quartet
The Donald Sinta Quartet, Senior Wind Division Gold Medal winner at the 2018 Fischoff Competition, will perform the opening concert in the 2018-19 Rieth Chamber Series on Friday, Sept. 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Center's Rieth Recital Hall.


Global South voices on climate change
Zacharias Martinez, Dr. Sibonokuhle Ncube and Durga Sunchiuri, each from a different continent, are sharing the stories of how their nations are experiencing the effects of climate change. All are invited to hear these stories Tuesday, September 25, 7 p.m. at Goshen College’s Church Chapel.


15th annual Grief Seminar
The 15th annual Grief Seminar, “All Life Long: Empowerment throughout the Grief Journey,” will take place on Friday, Sept. 21 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Goshen College’s Church-Chapel building. The seminar will focus on techniques and approaches to providing support for grieving children.
