Goshen College music professors José Rocha, cello & Matthew Hill, piano, will present a recital of chamber music on Sunday, April 2 in the Music Center’s Rieth Recital Hall. The recital will begin at 7:30 p.m.


Conference: Black, Brown, and Mennonite: Lessons from the Chicano, Puerto Rican, and Black Freedom Movements for the Mennonite Church
The conference titled “Black, Brown, and Mennonite: Lessons from the Chicano, Puerto Rican, and Black Freedom Movements for the Mennonite Church,” will be held March 30 through April 1, 2017 at Greencroft Goshen Community Center in Goshen, Indiana.


19th annual Academic Symposium
The 19th annual Goshen College Student Academic Symposium will feature original research by 21 Goshen College students. The symposium will take place in Goshen College's Church-Chapel on Saturday, April 1, from 12:30 to 4:45 p.m., and is free and open to the public.


Performing Arts Series: tenThing
Formed in 2007 by Norwegian trumpeter Tine Thing Helseth, the 10-member, all-female Norwegian brass band tenThing are rapidly establishing themselves on the international scene. tenThing will perform at Goshen College Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall on March 31 at 7:30 p.m. as part of the Performing Arts Series.

GC music faculty to perform selections from Schumann and Vaughan Williams
Goshen College Associate Professor of Music and baritone Scott Hochstetler will present a voice recital on Tuesday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m. The recital will feature pianists Luke Norell and Kathryn Schmidt, and will take place in the Goshen College Music Center’s Rieth Recital Hall.


Collection of ‘curiosities’ on display in Library Gallery through July 28
A collection of “mixed oddities,” including miscellaneous historical artifacts, will be on display in the Harold and Wilma Good Library basement gallery at Goshen College from March 26 through July 28, 2017. A reception will take place on Sunday, March 26, 3-5 p.m., in the Good Library Gallery, and is free and open to the public.


Lavender Jazz & All-Campus Band Spring Concert
Goshen College’s All-Campus Band and Lavender Jazz ensemble will perform in a joint concert on Saturday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m in Goshen College Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall.
