International author, editor Ellah Wakatama Allfrey to present ‘A Daily Assortment of Astonishing Things’
Ellah Wakatama Allfrey, a 1988 Goshen College graduate, and internationally-known author, broadcaster, editor and literary critic, will present Goshen College’s annual S.A. Yoder Lecture on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m. The event, titled “A Daily Assortment of Astonishing Things,” will take place in the Music Center’s Rieth Recital Hall and is free and open to the public.


Chamber Choir Joins St. Joseph Valley Camerata to perform Rachmaninoff “All-Night Vigil”
Two local choral ensembles will unite for a special choral concert on Friday, Oct. 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall. The Goshen College Chamber Choir will join with St. Joseph Valley Camerata, an area professional choir under the direction of Dr. Scott Hochstetler, associate professor of music.


GC alum from Hungary to host International Luncheon Oct. 11
Balasz Pirot, a Hungarian citizen who graduated in May 2016, will treat guests to a traditional Hungarian meal and a brief overview of Hungary's history, economy, culture, attractions and famous people on Oct. 11 at noon in the Church-Chapel Fellowship Hall

2016 Peace Play winner, ‘Party Favors,’ takes the stage Oct. 7-9
The Goshen College Theater Department will perform “Party Favors,” the winning play in the 2016 Goshen College Peace Play Contest, during Homecoming Weekend on Oct. 7 at 8 p.m., Oct. 8 at 4 p.m. and Oct. 9 at 2 p.m. in the college’s Umble Center.
