Dr. Marlin Jeschke, professor emeritus of philosophy and religion, returns to Goshen College to present “Conflict Within Islam: The Sunni-Shia Divide,” for an Afternoon Sabbatical on March 8 at 1 p.m. in the Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall.

Bluffton professor to speak about German Mennonites in Mexico
Rebecca Janzen, assistant professor of Spanish at Bluffton (Ohio) University, will present the 2016 C. Henry Smith Peace Lecture on Tuesday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Goshen College Administration Building Room 28. Janzen’s speech is titled “Small Signs of Pluralism in Mexico: Identification Cards and Other Images of the Low German Mennonites.”

David Jonies to give organ recital in Rieth Recital Hall
Award-winning organist David Jonies will present a recital on Goshen College’s Opus 41 pipe organ in the Music Center’s Rieth Recital Hall on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. The recital is part of the 2015-16 Rieth Chamber Series.
