Lavender Jazz Fall Concert
Lavender Jazz is Goshen College’s “big band” jazz ensemble. This student ensemble will perform their fall concert of jazz charts and standards on Nov. 17. They are directed by Greg Smucker.
Graduate Programs Dinner & Info Session
Come learn why one of Goshen College’s master’s programs in Nursing, Environmental Education, Business or Social Work might be the perfect next step on Nov. 14 from 5-6 p.m. in Newcomer Center Room 19. Professors from each of the programs will be on hand to answer questions. Food provided.
Youth Honors Orchestra Fall Concert
The Youth Honors Orchestra, a youth instrumental ensemble featuring community players grades 7-12, is conducted by Viktoria Petrak and will perform Nov. 14.
Exhibit (closing): A Cabinet of Curiosities 3: Quilts, Clockers, Ceramics and Fraktur
A new exhibit, “A Cabinet of Curiosities 3: Quilts, Clocks, Ceramics and Fraktur” will open in the Good Library Gallery, located in the Harold and Wilma Good Library on Sunday, March 5 through Sunday, Nov. 12. The exhibit offers a colorful variety of Mennonite and Amish items recently accessioned for the Mennonite Historical Library collection, and exhibited at Goshen College for the first time.

Art Exhibit: “Sense of Place,” by Sara Method, assistant professor of art Location: Music Center, Hershberger Art Gallery Dates: The exhibit runs from Sept. 17 to Nov. 12. Reception: The reception is Oct. 7 from 5:30-7 p.m. during Homecoming Weekend, with an artist talk at 6:15 p.m.
Fall Mainstage Play: “Twelfth Night: Or What You Will” by William Shakespeare
In this fall’s mainstage play, “Twelfth Night: Or What You Will,” the Goshen College Theater Department draws inspiration from post-punk youth culture in London, circa 1980, giving a new setting to the classic Shakespeare gender-bending romantic comedy. It will be performed on Friday, Nov. 10; Saturday, Nov. 11 and Saturday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 12 and 19 at 2:30 p.m. in Umble Center.
Community School of the Arts Fall Choral Showcase
Three youth choirs in the Community School of the Arts will perform on Nov. 12 as part of the annual CSA Fall Choral Showcase Concert. Performing are Rejoice (grades 3-5) and Sommo Voci (grades 9-12), directed by Kristin Kauffman, and Shout for Joy (grades 6-8), directed by Sandy Hill.

Treble Fest Festival Concert
Goshen College’s treble voice choir, Voices of the Earth, will be joined by area high school high voice choruses for a day of rehearsals and workshops, culminating in an evening choir concert on Nov. 7. Voices of the Earth is directed by H. Roz Woll, assistant professor of music.
GC Symphony Orchestra Fall Concert
The Goshen College Symphony Orchestra, directed by Richard Brunson, will present its fall concert in Sauder Concert Hall on Friday, Nov. 3.
