Works by GC art faculty on display through Nov. 9
Goshen College art professors Kristi Glick, Randy Horst, Merrill Krabill, Leslie Miller and John Mishler will present selections of their own work in a faculty exhibit from Sept. 28 through Nov. 9. A reception will take place on Saturday, Oct. 4, 5-7 p.m. in the Music Center’s Hershberger Art Gallery.


Norell to present solo piano recital on Sept. 28
Community School of the Arts Piano Program Director Dr. Luke Norell will present a solo piano recital in the Goshen College Music Center’s Rieth Recital Hall on Sunday, Sept. 28. The recital will begin at 4 p.m.


Pottery exhibit to be part of Michiana Pottery Tour this fall
Beginning on Sept. 27, Goshen College’s Hershberger Art Gallery will host an exhibit of ceramic works by Michiana area potters. The exhibit will also be included in the second annual Michiana Pottery Tour.


Merry Lea’s annual Autumn Hope Conference will explore the long view of immigration
From Sept. 20 to 22, Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center of Goshen College will host the annual Autumn Hope Conference, titled “Native Place: Disruption and Healing.” The weekend conference will take the long view of immigration and examine the impact of different people groups on the landscape.

This year Goshen College’s Center for Business and Entrepreneurial Education will continue its seven-week “Lunch and Learn” series with topics ranging from making a toast to managing a city court. The series is geared toward administrative support staff looking to improve their work habits and work environment through lunchtime seminars taught by experienced community leaders.

Afternoon Sabbatical series opens with reflections on life and career
The 2014-15 Afternoon Sabbatical series will begin with compelling stories from Abner and Anne Hershberger, former Goshen College professors, on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at 1 p.m. in the Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall.


Organist Carrie Groenewold to open inaugural Rieth Chamber Series
Kansas organist Carrie Groenewold will open Goshen College’s inaugural Rieth Chamber Series with an organ recital in Rieth Recital Hall on Sunday, Sept. 15. The concert begins at 4 p.m. and will be performed on Goshen’s acclaimed Taylor and Boody pipe organ.


Organist Stephen Jacoby to open 2014-15 Goshen College Rieth Chamber Series
Organist and former Bluffton College music professor Stephen Jacoby will open the 2014-15 Goshen College Rieth Chamber Series with a recital on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014 at 4 p.m. Jacoby will perform on the Goshen College Music Center’s Taylor & Boody pipe organ in the Music Center’s Rieth Recital Hall.
