There was an undeniable spirit hanging in the air inside Goshen College’s Sauder Concert Hall Saturday night as the six-o’clock hour approached.
Garrison Keillor brought his popular public radio variety show to Goshen College on Saturday, May 2, and performed for and with a sold-out audience at Sauder Concert Hall.
Garrison Keillor chose to bring back “A Prairie Home Companion” to Goshen College, an institution that makes our community more vibrant.
Four million people are expected to tune in to “A Prairie Home Companion” on Saturday, May 2, which will broadcast live from Goshen College at 5:45 p.m. Garrison Keillor will return to the Sauder Concert Hall stage as part of the Performing Arts Series to present this popular radio show, which airs on more than 500 public radio stations around the world.
The 2014-15 season of the Goshen College Performing Arts Series will again bring extraordinary and top quality arts performances to the college, including the Indigo Girls, Lyle Lovett, Peking Acrobats and the return of Garrison Keillor, who will bring his Prairie Home Companion show to the Sauder Hall stage.
On Tuesday, Oct. 15, one of the most popular American storytellers of all time, Garrison Keillor, will return to Goshen College for the first time since 1985.
The 2013-14 season of the Goshen College Performing Arts Series will again bring extraordinary and top quality arts performances to the college, including Garrison Keillor, The Wailin’ Jennys, the Vienna Boys Choir and Pink Martini.
