Goshen College alumni artists Emma Gerigscott and Nick Loewen will show recent work in an exhibit in the Hershberger Art Gallery from Nov. 17, 2019, though Jan. 12, 2020, with a reception on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 5:30 p.m., followed by an artist talk at 7 p.m.
Goshen College Professor Emeritus of Art Abner Hershberger will exhibit his mixed-media paintings in the gallery that carries his name from Sept. 22 to Nov. 10, 2019. A reception and artist talk will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5, during Goshen College's Homecoming celebration.
An exhibit featuring large scale photography from the private collection of local collectors Rick and Cindy Burns is on display in the Abner Hershberger Art Gallery this summer, with a reception on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 2 p.m., and an artist talk to follow at 3:30 p.m. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
Teresa Pankratz, a book and paper artist from Chicago, is the 2019 Eric Yake Kenagy Visiting Artist. An exhibit of her work will be on display in the Music Center's Hershberger Art Gallery from Feb. 17 through March 24, 2019.
Goshen College Professor of Art Merrill Krabill will speak about his mixed-media works from his series “A Visual Reflection on Fear and Connection” as part of the 2019 C. Henry Smith peace lecture and exhibit. A reception will follow the talk. This exhibit will be on display through Feb. 10, 2019.
The current art faculty of Bluffton University will open an exhibition of their most recent photography, ceramics and mixed media works in the Abner Hershberger Art Gallery on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m., with an artist talk to follow at 3:30 p.m. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
Works from the Arlin and Naomi Hunsberger Haitian Art Collection, along with the Nyai Oyer Gamelan, a large, traditional, Javanese instrument, will be on display in the Goshen College Music Center’s Hershberger Art Gallery from Sept. 23 to Nov. 11, 2018, with a reception during Homecoming Weekend on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 5:30 p.m.
A collection of local Amish folk art will be on display in the Music Center’s Hershberger Art Gallery from June 4 to Sept. 16, 2018, with a reception on Sept. 9 at 2 p.m., followed by a lecture at 3:30 p.m. The collection will then be remounted in the Harold and Wilma Good Library Gallery from Sept. 23 through Nov. 18, 2018. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
Goshen College student artwork will be on display in the Music Center’s Hershberger Art Gallery for a juried art show from Sunday, May 6 to May 22, 2018. There will be a reception with refreshments on May 6 at 2 p.m., with an awards ceremony at 2:30 p.m.
