Grammy Award-winning American folk singer-songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter is coming to Goshen and will take the Music Center's Sauder Concert Hall stage for her Performing Arts Series concert on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 7:30 p.m., and there are only a few tickets left.
The Manhattan Transfer, a U.S. vocal quartet, will kick off Goshen College's 2011-12 Performing Arts Series with their harmonies on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Center's Sauder Concert Hall.
Opportunities are still available to secure individual tickets for all concerts in the Goshen College Performing Arts Series. Individual tickets go on sale Monday, Aug. 8, at the Goshen College Welcome Center. The 2011-12 season will begin Sept. 10 with Manhattan Transfer.
The 2011-12 season of the Goshen College Performing Arts Series will again bring extraordinary and top quality arts performances to the college, including Manhattan Transfer; Mary Chapin Carpenter; Carolina Chocolate Drops; Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg; Choral Masterpieces With Vance George, Toledo Symphony and GC Choirs; Mark O'Conner Hot Swing; and Cherish The Ladies. In addition, this year's lineup includes a family-friendly performance of Zoo Zoo by the innovative Imago Theater.
The 2010-11 season of the Goshen College Performing Arts Series will again bring an incredible breadth of top quality arts performances to the college, including Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Conspirare, Wailin' Jennys, Shawn Colvin and Loudon Wainwright III, BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet, Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana, The 5 Browns and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic.
