June 12-15: From Study to Service June 18, 2018 Students visited Lugar de la Memoria to learn about 1980-2000 violent era in Peru. RaeAnn and Jenae visit a display. Seth pursues his hacky sack, again. Artist-activist Lici Ramirez lectured on women in Peru. Hannah, Stuart, and Rae Ann prepare salsa for the Despedida, farewell party. Erika visits with Alicia. Host families in Arequipa greet the students after the 16-hour journey. We are grateful to report that all 23 students arrived safely at their destinations.
