Vehicle Use Applications

On January 9, 2006, a new policy regarding Goshen College fleet vehicles took effect. The policy is being driven primarily by the need to comply with more stringent insurance expectations but also to more carefully manage institutional risk in usage of fleet vehicles. The primary changes from previous practice are that no one under the age of 21 will be allowed to drive fleet vehicles and that all users of the vehicles must have a current and valid U.S. driver’s license (information to be kept on file) and a clean driving record (see details in the Vehicle Policy.)

Students, faculty/staff and anyone wishing to drive a fleet vehicle must submit the Driving Application Form to receive authorization. The application must be completed and submitted to Physical Plant to determine eligibility.
