This convocation is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about how the Pokagon Band of the Potawatomi, one branch of the people native to the land that Goshen is now on, are growing and re-rooting themselves here in Indiana. Speaking will be Marcus Winchester, the Director of the band’s Department of Language and Culture. Come to find out how the story of indigenous people here is much more than just one of loss.
All are welcome to continue conversations with Mr. Winchester and others at a reception in the Yost room of Umble afterwards (till 12 noon).

The 2019 Culture for Service, Champions of Character and Young Alumni Servant Leadership award winners will be honored. Minh Kauffman and Rob Vander Giessen-Reitsma will speak.
