Goshen College has partnered with Parchment to offer students and alumni a secure, electronic way to request and send transcripts. It’s easy to use; it’s secure; and it’s available 24/7.
Parchment will deliver your official transcript anywhere you need it to go – other colleges and universities, scholarship organizations, employers, or to you. Be mindful that most educational institutions require official copies to go directly from Parchment to the institution and that copies submitted directly by the student/alumni may not be accepted as official. Transcripts can be sent in either electronic or hard copy format. There is a $7 fee per official transcript.
Your first step is to create an account with Parchment. We STRONGLY suggest you use a personal e-mail account, not your goshen.edu account, when registering. If you ever forget your password, it is this e-mail they will send a new password to. Also, TO AVOID DELAYS IN PROCESSING, please enter as much information as possible, e.g. full name (when you last attended GC), student ID number, date of birth and last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN).
If you need to attach a transcript request form from the organization you’re sending to (think AMCAS, LSAC, etc.), please attach the request document when placing the Parchment order.
You can track a request in real time by signing into your Parchment account and viewing your transcript request. Note: if requesting the overnight service option, the request must be submitted by 12:00 noon Eastern Standard Time during the college’s normal business hours.
Please remember that any administrative holds with Goshen College must be resolved with the appropriate campus office before release of the transcript.

What is a transcript?
A transcript is a certified, official copy of your permanent academic record. Since transcripts contain confidential information, they cannot be released to anyone other than you without your written authorization. (The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 prohibits the release of a transcript or the information recorded hereon to a third party without the student’s express written consent.)
