Leaving for service
We finished our week long journey across the Serengeti. We had a great time! We will write more soon about that.
Our trip together ended at the Anglican guest house in Musoma, a city on the shore of Lake Victoria. We stayed for two nights, with orientation and preparations for the next stage of SST. This morning students left by bus for their service assignments in villages and towns scattered across the surrounding Mara region. They will volunteer in schools, community organizations, agroforestry projects and other opportunities.
We have already heard from everyone sent out that they arrived and were warmly welcomed!
We–Kathy and Paul and Elena–will be living in a village just outside of Musoma until the end of service.
