Yesterday, July 9th, Write On Sports spoke with Errick McCollum, at Goshen College.
Errick McCollum talked a lot about making 82 points in one game. When McCollum made all 82 points he just beat a CBA record. McCollum’s family didn’t believe him when he told them. McCollum had to make his girlfriend tell his family so they believe him. McCollum now plays for a CBA team in Zhejiang, China.
When McCollum went to China he states he went for “the money.” McCollum told us he was not a spender of items or objects, but for experience. McCollum doesn’t only do it for the experiences, he also does it so he can set a limit for himself.
McCollum has a modo in sports which is, “I always, say you are never as good as you think, but never as bad as it seems.” McCollum woks very hard in school, in basketball, and in life. ” If your grades aren’t in order your never going to get nowhere,” McCollum says.
McCollum is still laying and has many years ahead to work on other goals and maybe beat his own record by getting 83 or higher.
