Anthony Anderson is a sports reporter for the Elkhart Truth. He has been working their since 1987. Anthony grew up wanting to play baseball. He couldn’t hit a fastball or a a curve ball so he gave up on that idea. Anthony loved writing, he got the passion from his mother. He loved sports and never got sick of them.
Anthony has six children, his son plays baseball. He values the sport tremendously. Anthony got the opportunity to talk to Dominique Wilkins, a NBA basketball player. Dominique had many things to say about AAU basketball, he doesn’t like the idea at all. Anthony loved the opportunity to interview him. Anthony said, ” Any person he wants to interview it would be John F. Kennedy.”
Anthony has won first-place Hoosier State Press Association Awards for the best columnist and best sports feature writing. Anthony coordinates The Truth’s boys high school basketball coverage and was presented in 2007 by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association with the Virgil Sweet Service Award.
As I said Anthony loves sports and loves being a reporter. As you can see this is Anthony road to being a reporter.
