Vince Turner was a sports reporter for the Elkhart Truth. He has a passion for sports. Turner grew up in Southern California listening the Dodgers and the Angels. When he grew up there was only one game on the television a week, but the other games would be on the radio.
Turner was a sports director for WTRC radio from 1985 to 1998. He handled play-by-play for high school basketball and football; and for Notre Dame basketball. Turner has won 22 Associated Press and United Press International broadcast honors for play-by-play.
Turner then worked as the vice president of development at Bashor Children’s Home for ten years. Then soon after that he joined MutualBank as the vice president and regional manager. Turner serves on the Write on Sports board of directors.
As you can see Vince turner is a very successful person and this is his road to being a play-by-play reporter.
