On July 15 Write On Sports interviewed graduate of Goshen College (GC) Jerron Jamerson. Mr. Jamerson was basketball player on the NBLC (National Basketball League of Canada and a Goshen Maple Leaf basketball player. He graduated from GC in 2014.
Mr. Jamerson went to Owens Community College (OCC) for two years before transferring to GC. In OCC Mr. Jamerson met two friends who were from Australia and Jamerson told his friends that he would like to visit Australia one day. In 2016 Jamerson joined a team in the NBLC after only playing four games in the Danville Riverhawks and two days later he took a flight to Moncton, New Burnswick
“Like I said I transfered here,” Jamerson stated, “so my grandmother could see me play…”
One day while playing basketball he was given the chance to play in the Basketball Australia league and he accepted, after all he always wanted t0 visit Australia. Around July 25 to the beginning of August Jamerson will travel to Australia.
