On July 15,2016 Write on Sports interviewed Jerron Jamerson. Jamerson played basketball at Goshen College for 2 years and graduated in 2015. Jerron also played Canadian league basketball and he is now going to play Australia basketball.
Write on Sports reporter Carter Schmucker asked Jerron Jamerson what made him choose Goshen College and he said, “So my grandma could come to my games,” Jamerson also did community work in Goshen while he was attending Goshen College. Jamerson is 6’4, he played power forward or center in high school, but now he plays a point guard or shooting guard. Schmucker asked him how he stays in shape and Jamerson answered, ” I try to work out 2-3 times a day,”Jamerson graduated through Goshen College with commuation in 2014.
Jamerson played professional basketball in Canada for 1 season. Schmucker asked Jamerson what the difference is between American basketball and Canadian basketball, and he answered, ” A lot of the guys in Canada are a lot taller and the tempo is slower,” Jamerson played Global summer league on Point Streak. Schmucker also asked him who his favorite player is now and Jamerson answered,”Russell Westbrook, I try to be like him in some of my games, I like his tempo and how he can play fast pace,” Schmucker also asked Jamerson if he had any endorsements yet and Jamerson answered,”I have not yet,but I would like to get one with Adidas,” finally Schmucker asked Jamerson how his parents helped him and Jamerson replied,”I loved seeing my parents working to help me get better,taking time out of their day to help me get better.”
