Jerron Jamerson is a Goshen College graduate and basketball player. Jamerson always said that, “travel is one of those things when I was younger, that I always wanted to do,” and after college, he got his wish. He went to Vegas to play in a summer league, which is where he found his current basketball agent, and was a kickstart on the rest of his career.
After he was done playing in Vegas, he went to Canada to play for the Moncton Miracles. He says that the best part of playing in Canada, was how much he learned, “culturally and generally.” Once he had finished his season there, he signed a contract with Australia and will be moving there in July of 2016. Jamerson stated that when he got the opportunity to go there, he “jumped on it quick.” Right now though, he is just focused on training and spending time with his family, before he moves to another continent.
Jamerson hopes to one day go back to Canada once he’s done in Australia. His goal is to then go to the NBA (National Basketball Association) summer league, and then play, “in the states.”
Ever since he was little, Jerron Jamerson has wanted to travel, and see new places, and his basketball career has led him to do just that.
