BY COLE JOHNSTON
Malik Zaire is a senior quarterback at Notre Dame. He started as a backup. Then last year he got injured in game 2 of the season . He was out for the rest of the year. Backup Deshone Kizer had to take over. This year Zaire is competing against Kizer for the starting quarterback position. Will he be the starter or will he be backup? We will find out soon enough.
We interviewed him on July 20th at Notre Dame at 1230 hours. Some of his facts were he was born in Ohio. He felt hurt after his injury. He doesn’t care if he is the starter or backup. He hates bees. His favorite teammate is Sheldon Day who is a defensive linemen. If he would have any pet, it would be a rhino. This is what he told us.
