Sears was given a few other colleges such as Brown University and Presbyterian College. Sears also said that you can get more playing time playing for a division two school instead of a division one school.
“I have some family connections, ” Sears said about another reason that she attended Goshen College. Sears stated that “I liked coach Miller’s approach” on how it somewhat impacted her decision.
In Sears first year, Goshen College won about 3 games in the entire season. “Those were some of the big moments” when they did win a game. Sear’s sophomore year the basketball team went .500 with an 11-11 record. Sears Juinor year they lead Goshen to a Division 2 final four. “we were just there to focus on basketball” Sears said. She will be attending Louisville this year. The sky is the limit for her future.
