Femi Hollinger-Janzen a professional soccer player who plays for the New England Revolution. He said to the Goshen Write On Sports campers that he wakes up every morning at about 8:00 a.m. then gets ready for soccer practice at Gillette Stadium without eating breakfast at his house. When he gets to the stadium they have breakfast for all the players already made. Then he stretches and he starts practice at eleven o’clock. Practice ends at about twelve thirty or twelve forty-five and then they lift for about thirty minutes and gets home at about two or two thirty.
Hollinger-Janzen likes to play video games like FIFA and Call of Duty. Or he likes watching television or he likes going on walks with his roommates dog. At the beginning of the preseason he was playing for Minnesota United FC when he finished practice the manager asked him if he could speak to him in private. Hollinger-Janzen was then told he had been traded for Bobby Shuttleworth a goal keeper. Hollinger-Janzen had to go back to the New England Revolution the team he got drafted by in 2016 MLS Super Draft where he was picked fifty-first in the draft.
Femi wants to become a Director of Operations when he retires from being a soccer player because he still wants to be in the soccer world. But right now he is living the dream that he had as a kid to be a professional soccer player.
